Only if it's loose. The two sternum straps and the side webbing tune the fit to your ribcage, and a close fit is what stops movement. Spend a minute on the straps before the first long run rather than adjusting mid-session.
That's the point of the front-loaded layout. The bite valves sit at collarbone height, so you drink where your hands already are — nothing to unclip, nothing to dig out, no slowing to a walk.
Yes. Two soft flasks are included, one for each side pocket. Nothing else is needed to use the vest.
The sternum straps move on the webbing and the side straps adjust across a wide range, so it tunes to the ribcage rather than coming in fixed sizes. It works the same for men and women.
Take the flasks out and rinse them separately after every run — that's the part that needs attention, not the vest. Hand wash the vest cold, no fabric softener, no bleach, hang to dry. No tumble dryer.
