The things runners actually ask us
Everything below is about these tights specifically — what they're for, what they aren't, and what to do if they aren't right for you.
For warm-ups, cool-downs and easy miles, yes. For road sessions, no — the flare sits wide over the shoe and picks up wet in rain. Wear a tapered tight for those. These are for everything either side of the session, which is most of the week.
No. The V-cross cut follows the line of the lower back rather than cutting straight across it, which is what makes a straight high waist fold when you fold forward. Hamstring stretches, hip openers, deep squats — it stays.
True to size. Take your usual size — the hold comes from the fabric, not from sizing down.
No. The knit is four-way stretch that recovers to shape, so there's no bagging at the knee after the third session and no sag at the seat by the end of a long day.
Machine wash at 30°C inside out with similar colours, then air dry. Skip the tumble dryer and fabric softener — both break down the elastane, and the elastane is what holds them up.
Send them back within 30 days and we'll cover the return shipping.
