The things runners actually ask us
Everything below is about these shorts specifically — what fits in the pocket, how the waistband holds, and what to do if they aren't right for you.
The side pocket is cut for a modern phone, not a phone from 2014. Your keys and card go in alongside it. The phone sits flat against the leg rather than swinging, so there's nothing to check mid-run.
It's high-rise and it holds there — no folding over at the front at kilometre three, no creeping down as you warm up. The test that matters is whether it holds with a phone in the pocket, and that's what it's built for.
Mid-thigh, finishing just above the knee. Long enough to give coverage across the inner thigh on the runs where you're building mileage, short enough to still feel like running shorts.
Take your usual size. The fabric has plenty of stretch and the high waistband sits close without gripping.
Machine wash cold with like colours and let them air dry. Skip the tumble dryer and the fabric softener — softener coats the fibres and takes the stretch out over time.
Send them back within 30 days and we cover the return shipping. Take them through a long run with a phone in the pocket — that's the test that matters.
